Pondering Headgear Restrictions

We came across an intriguing column discussing exceptions to passport photo requirements.

The author m. Holsda argues that with today's technological advancements, we can accurately identify individuals worldwide as long as their mouth, nose, chin, eyes, and forehead remain clearly visible.

As a result, holsda suggests that the ongoing debate surrounding head coverings is unnecessary. If these key facial features are sufficiently visible in the passport photo, the existing regulations on this issue could be eliminated.

Holsda further questions:

Who has the authority to define what constitutes a religion? Isn't religion inherently intangible? It does not offer an accurate representation of the reality beyond us—belief is merely an interpretation of it. Unless the government itself resides in the realm of the deceased, it cannot make definitive statements on such matters.

Do you agree with this perspective?
