Jewelry, also known as "jewels", refers to all objects (excluding clothing) worn on the body for the purpose of decoration and adornment. Some jewelry is worn directly on body parts, which requires the piercing of the body part and, in some cases, the stretching of the hole to a larger size.

Some popular types of jewelry include:
- Bracelet: A piece of jewelry worn around the arm, particularly the wrist, or a piece of fabric worn around the upper arm for distinction.
- Charm Bracelet: A bracelet to which small objects (charms) can be attached.
- Brooch: A historical utility and ornamental item that served as a clasp for clothing.
- Hairpin: A tool used to hold hair in place.
- Necklace: A piece of jewelry worn around the neck, close to the collarbone or slightly below it.
- Medallion: A small round portrait or image.
- Earring: A ring or other shaped item of jewelry worn through the earlobe or ear cartilage.

Rules for Jewelry on Passport Photos
It is permissible to wear jewelry on passport photos. This includes visible jewelry around the face, such as earrings, hairpins, piercings, or necklaces.
However, the jewelry must not reflect light. If any reflection is visible, the jewelry must be removed.
